The Afternoon That Felt So Much Like Work

You realize that there are days when all your attempts at focusing on your work fail at their maddest. You space out whenever there's a second gap, probably between reading your mails and checking the time, or trying to answer a question you’ve already forgotten by the minute you glanced away from your monitor. Sometimes it’s even hard to concentrate finishing up your coffee especially when you notice your coffee break is up. And you realize, you didn't even get the chance to snatch some vending machine fix.

Suddenly, the question comes up. But you slam the question with a loud bang and force yourself to read your mails or do something without so much care.

For what does it matter? The question will always play around inside your head and you know, you don't want to hear your very own answer.
