iOS updates can't be paused

So I just discovered, the hard way I might note, that you can't pause an iOS update download. I had about 100MB's downloaded from their ridiculously slow servers when I needed to pause it. What happened you ask? It completely lost all my progress.



I'd understand that if it was in a browser or something but I was doing this inside iTunes. I'm sorry Apple, when you have choking servers + my slow connection I have trouble sitting on the internet long enough for to get all that downloaded (700MB+). Very frustrating.
