I have never been to a womans success factor seminar until Saturday and I must say that it was one of the most invigorating things I have ever experienced in my life! There were so many wonderful women who attended and had great positive energy to share with others. I just wanted to take a few moments to share some great ideas & tips with you in regards to becoming your own boss:
1) You MUST manage your reputation online (don't have inappropriate things all online..people do see)
2) Be AUTHENTIC and TRANSPARENT... you need to be honest and real with yourself and with everyone else. And be transparent so you can be found online.
3) Make sure to seperate your business life from your personal life... MANDATORY!
4) YOUTUBE is the 2nd largest search engine (following GOOGLE) - I actually had no idea of this until today!
5) Research, target, and take action... - research your information, know who your target audience is, and then take action so it doesn't stay as just an idea!
6) Be professional ALL THE TIME!
7) Ask for help!
Those are just some of the wonderful ideas and tips that I wrote down because they can apply to anyone in any career field. Nowadays you have to have some knowledge in your social networking sites so that you don't get left behind. But ALWAYS REMEMBER that face to face networking is the KEY to success as well. People want to know who you are and what you represent & when they are able to meet you face to face and hear the passion and see the ambition that you have then they are very likely to do business with you or put you in contact with others that can.
