A range of natural ingredients (ginger, reishi mushrooms, turmeric, chamomile etc) are used for these products.
The Cleanser is creamy and light. You can either wash it off or tissue it off if you prefer. It cleanses well, without disturbing the skin's natural lipid balance and that helps with keeping it calm. It leaves the skin in a 'normal' condition (not oily, dry or aggravated). Sometimes I leave it on for about 15mins, to let it work as a mask.
The Toner is probably my favourite product out of the whole range. It is really soothing and balancing to use after you cleanse. You could use this toner in conjunction with other products, just to add a 'calming' something to your routine.
The Face serum is a very light fluid that does what it says on the tin. Even my boyfriend used it a couple of times and really thought it's amazing. It definitely takes the redness down and helps "optimise the skin's defenses". If you have sensitive skin or redness, you will love it.
The Face Lotion is also a light-weight product (unlike the Cream) that can be used on top of the serum. I did skip it on my oily days, but it generally isn't that oily at all, as it is made for combination and oily skin-types. It is supposed to discourage moisture loss and defend against environmental aggressors.
The Eye Serum was a lovely product overall but I feel like you only need it if you have some specific issues with redness around your eyes. Like the face serum is very fluid and light and I definitely needed to add a cream on top of it. Even though I did use it all up (I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to strengthen the eye-area), I don't have much to say about this product as I didn't see any difference by using it. If you suffer from allergies I guess you might like it.
Overall, this range was really nice to use. It did help with the redness and inflammation that comes with my usual blemishes. At the same time it didn't improve my break outs or make them worse. The cleanser and the toner stood out more to me and I would consider of using the serum again in the future. Having read up on the research, I'm sold to the idea of anti-inflammatory products. They do address a number of issues and they do optimise your skin's defense according to dermatologists. So incorporating one or two of this type of soothing products to your routine, it's good weather you want to treat redness or prevent pre-mature aging.
