As I am in Greece for the summer (I'm Greek, no I'm not starving (yet), yes my parents have always been paying the tax etc.) I thought it would be appropriate to do "shopping-my-stash" kinda posts. Using up the products
I already have isn't a new thing for me, I always had this twisted
hobby. It used to be my pens at school, now it's things like body
lotions and face powders.
So, things I have rediscovered lately...
Carolina Herrera 212 Summer Cocktail
I save this perfume for "special occasions in the summer" as it was limited edition. No other perfume comes even close. Fresh, quirky, feminine. If I was a smell, this would be it. (It came in a transparent cocktail shaker that I've kept! *how sad am I?*)
Korres sunscreen stick spf 30
Oh I love this! It's always in my handbag and I have the habit of using it as a high-lighter because I love its pinky colour and the extra-subtle shimmer. (Read more about it here)
Milani Blush in Luminous
This has been re-formulated since my old days but I just rediscovered it and I enjoy using it. Its pinky/peachy shade is so easy to pair with any sort of colours and looks. That's why I like it; I don't have to think, I just slap it on (not my favourite blush otherwise...).
Revlon shiny sheer in 825
Do they still make these? My boyfriend's mum got me it. When I first saw it, it reminded me of lip-colours my aunt used to wear in the 80's. It looks way better when you wear it though (how wrong can you go with coral in the summer?). Added bonus of spf 15!
Milky/Beigy Nail Varnish against tanned skin
Here I have Pastel Rose by Korres but I just bought this a couple of weeks ago, so it's not a rediscovery really. I get obsessed with nail looks and my current love is really short nails with these neutral ("blah" I hear you say?) colours. They make me look extra tanned.
The Bodyshop Hairbrush (vintage)
Ha! Vintage... My mum bought me this when I was 8. I use it now (and I really really love using it) since I forgot my favourite comb in London. It works and looks so cool!
