Our Family's Love Month - April

The family that gives praises and thanks to God together, stays faithfully together, in Christ.

Our family offered our sacrifice of Thanksgiving to the Almighty last Sunday, April 29, 2012. Although my youngest brother  isn't baptized yet, he was with us too.

Mama, Papa and I are all "April celebrants", so each year after Teleng was baptized in 2008, we offer Thanksgiving every April. It's our love month. Our Thanksgiving month.

We offered our heartfelt thanks to EVERY SINGLE THING He has done for us, not just for last year or this year, but for every second of the day that He allowed us to breathe and live and be given the opportunity to fulfill each of our duties. We thank Him for enough food for our subsistence, for each day and night that He keeps us safe in and outside the comforts of our humble home, for the trials we were able to overcome because of prayers He answered, for the health He so graciously provides us, for the daily happiness we experience each time we hear His words during Church services, and when we are alone, when He speaks to us so we may not be weary or anxious of anything, and we thank Him for giving us our preachers who have toiled a lot for the sake of our salvation.

I can go on and on and i won't be able to tell you everything our family is thankful for. But sincerely, we were thrilled to be standing in front of the whole congregation, with tears in our eyes, singing a version of our gratefulness.

The mere fact that He called each one of us alone is a great expression of how much He has been compassionate to us. We are not a perfect example of a family, but with God's help, we try as much as we can to follow His will, and to be under His grace.

We will never forget the day He called us in His Church, we will never forget how much love He has shown us despite our shortcomings. We may never know each and every help and blessing He gave, but we will always be grateful for His unspeakable gift. Our family will always, and forever, be indebted to our Almighty God. We are hoping that through this small act of faith, He will again look at us with forbearance. May He hold our family together in His loving and caring hands, until our Lord Jesus Christ's return.

Our family has weathered a lot of storms, we were battered by different difficult situations, and we believe that if it weren't for God, we would've been broken, one by one. But He has shown His love. And again, once more, we sing together with happiness and gratitude.

Singing "Hanap Namin Ang Lingap Mo" up the stage with my whole family, is already a blessing to me.
Being a member of our Church, and meeting Bro.Eli and Bro.Daniel, are such wonderful gifts from God.

We thank You Oh Lord, We praise You Oh Lord. Yours is the glory, and the kingdom, and the power. Amen.
