Quick tip: If installing Windows Vista or Windows 7 on an older system with a Promise Ultra 100 TX2 or Ultra 133 TX2 IDE controller, you'll need a new driver. Both can use the Ultra 133 TX2 Vista Driver in the Legacy Download Center:
Use the driver released 4/24/2007. It includes drivers for both the 100 and 133 models even though it only says 133. It also includes both x86 and x64 versions.
