LIZ EARLE LIGHT MOISTURISER

Liz Earle, I feel, does good, simple, natural skincare. Nothing too overwhelming - never disappointing. This Skin Repair Light moisturiser is the same.

What is it?

A very gentle moisturiser for combination/oily skins. It contains a blend of natural ingredients such as borage oil, echinacea, avocado oil, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and
natural antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin E to replace lost
moisture and help protect your skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

Pros

It is a very nice moisturiser; truly gentle and calming. Doesn't clog the pores.

You can tell it's packed with good ingredients.

It isn't too oily, but it still has a very good moisturising power.

Good to have if you have normal/combination skin with no major concerns.

It comes with a pump and lasts ages too.

Cons

Its description as Light, can be a bit misleading. I'm not saying that this is a super-rich cream, it's not. But it does contain oils and leaves a film on the skin. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types, as you will feel like it's too heavy and doesn't sink in.

Also, the smell. Many people have mentioned it and it's true. I had trouble getting used to it and felt like I smelled of eggs for the first couple of weeks. But then my boyfriend still hates it, so I only use it when we aren't together.

Overall

A good bog standard moisturiser. If you have acne, or any other skin issue you will want to invest in something that targets your problems. If you are looking for a classic, gentle lotion to use on your normal/combination skin this is good and natural.
