Pray for Our President and World Leaders

Let us always pray for our president and other world leaders. The Lord teaches us to respect leadership and clearly instructs us to obey the law and leaders of the land.

Submission to Government 

Romans 13:1-2 
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 


Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Romans 13: 5-7
Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 

Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

Our Prayer

In the name of Jesus we continue to pray that the Lord will forever prosper, protect and bless our president and his family.

We pray that President Obama will always make wise, and fair decisions. We pray with a great sense of hope and by faith that President Obama remains receptive to God's divine guidance and sensitive to the needs of the people.  

We pray that President Barack Obama and other world leaders will work together to promote civil rights, social justice, and global peace. This is our prayer and hope in Jesus name, Amen. 

Abraham Lincoln stated, "Nearly all (people) can stand adversity, but if you want to test one’s character, give them power." With Lincoln's quote in mind and the state of the world please help us to keep our world leaders in prayer.
